If we're not in a larger organization that has a sales team, for most of us, we are solely responsible for the sales and income we are bringing into our business. And what I find a lot, and I am sure that Laura does too, is that it's not necessarily the doing of the things that creates dips or feast and famine. It's the energy, your energy that dips, that causes the feast and famine. And there's practical things that we can do to make sure that we're protected when our energy ebbs and flows, which it does. We're human beings. And there are some sort of like, emotional practices that we can do, to maintain our energy. So this is the conversation we're having today. I'm excited.
Read MoreI’m going to assume that MOST of you have picked a word of the year. This has become a tradition over the last decade to very hopefully pick a word that will embolden you to create change or achieve a specific feeling when the year is complete.
Today I wanted to hop in here and talk about your word of the year. I’ve intentionally picked now to talk about it because the rah rah-ness of the new year has passed. We have stopped asking everyone what their word is and you have most likely put your head down deep into the doing and perhaps you haven’t thought about your word in the last few weeks.

Read MoreHey, hey, bold leaders. I wanted to jump in here this morning and share with you how I spent my 90 minutes of productivity this morning because what I did was I took action on somebody's podcast, and that's so important to do. I took action on Dr. Michelle Mazur's podcast episode, she's the Rebel Rising Podcast. I went in her way back machine to where she first planted the seed, the origin for her Three Word Rebellion. I decided that I was going to work on my three word rebellion for The Bold Leadership Mastermind Day.
Read MoreAs I mentioned previously, I love sharing my reflections as a way of facilitating growth and development in others. So often I hear from people that they want to be more intention and discerning but they don’t know where to start. OR they want to be more reflective but they don’t know how. Starting anything new always feels so daunting. That is why we come together to do this radical self reflection together twice per month inside The BRAVE Society.
The things I’m sharing today are the things I’m present to after my 2018 reflection. These are the concepts I’m mulling over and really taking with my into 2019.
I’m sharing with you TWO of my favorite things -- lessons learned. I love sharing my reflections and insights because I think it’s SO helpful to hear the stories of others to give context to some of the strategies we hear. And the second thing I love talking about is MONEY and ABUNDANCE. And abundance isn’t money related -- you can be abundant with all different ways. You can be abundant in friends, love, health, good conversations and of course...MONEY. But please know, you can FEEL abundant without money. As a matter of fact, I believe it’s imperative that you be able to FEEL abundance in the absence of money.

Read MoreToday’s topic is one that has been on my heart and mind for a while. Over the last 4 years, I have worked with some spectacular high achievers but I noticed something. They often sacrificed true productivity and high-performance protocols for their achievement.
Furthermore, the achievement wound up not really being what they wanted to begin with. There seems to be a giant disconnect between achievement and performance.

Read MoreAs someone who has done post graduate work in the field of psychology, I’ve studied change pretty extensively -- in mice, in families with domestic violence and in organizations. That’s a pretty broad spectrum.
Here’s something super embarrassing. It doesn’t matter how many behavior change frameworks and models I studied. You truly don’t get it until you live it
Not only that, I don’t think you truly understand rapid change until you’re an entrepreneur when EVERYTHING can change is an INSTANT.
